About me
Context matters a great deal. My posts aren't supposed to uncover any grand objective truths and are without a doubt filtered through my own personal slice of life. Accordingly, here are some facts abut myself that might be relevant:
First and foremost, this blog is written by a human being. It's not the product of a million of monkeys slamming their simian faces against a million typewriters (although it might seem like it sometimes). It's also not the product of some sort of recently sentient collective machine intelligence (I/We would probably have something better to do). I love food, alcohol, and art. (because I am human).
I'm a guy specifically, in case that matters at all. It might. If I'm talking about issues which touch upon gender and totally butcher it, keep in mind that I'm just a product of patriarchal society trying to make my way in the world.
I also happen to be an international university student, currently living in London and studying politics. Academically I'm interested in public policy, democratisation, behavioural science, evolution, complex systems, sustainable development and existential risk. I also think a lot about epistemology, ethics and girls. I probably won't be writing about the latter.
